How to know if shipments will have a custom fee?

I have three packages arriving tomorrow.they're all separate for different sellers. Total I spent was 295. Will I get charged for custom fees??? It came from china..how do I know if ill be charge? Is it just at the door when its delivered?it be great to know ahead of time..
