I'm from Canada Can I find a job and get them sponsor me so I can get my work visa and I can work for them?

Would I get a job and ask the company to sponsor me so I can immigrate from Canada to the USA. Job down in Studio City. Then just work for them. And if I can do that after a while can I just quit if Iw wanted to. How does getting a work company to sponsor u work ?
